Puddlegear sizing is easy as jumping in a mud puddle! - Abeko uses the European way of sizing by height in centimetres because it's easy and makes good sense. Every child grows at their own pace all you need to do is measure their height for a good fit.
There's no need to "buy big." - Every Puddlegear item has approximately 10cm of growth built into the sizing. The gear will last for multiple children but don't buy it too big or your child will not feel comfortable wearing it. If you really want it big...consider the jacket...it Europe they choose to wear clothing more fitted than we do in North America.
How to use our size chart - Just measure your child from the top of the head to the flat foot. Call us with any questions and we'll be happy to help you get the right fit.
Height - is the one and only measure you need to order Puddlegear - we can't stress this enough - measure the height for a good fit.
Weight - may be helpful if a child is above or below average weight.
Age - isn't nearly as accurate as using the height (since kids all grow at different rates!). But if its all you have its a good place to start. We can always exchange!
