You have been cooped up all winter, and now here come those April showers! Are you going to force your kids to stay indoors, or can you gear them up for rainy day fun? We decided to go carless this year, which means, rain or shine, we will be bicycling in the elements. Puddlegear is our choice for keeping our little passengers dry and happy. Because worse than a wet preschooler would be a whiney, or later, sick preschooler. Puddlegear is free of PVC and Phthalates, and has even been certified by oko - tex to be free of over 100 harmful chemicals. This is a HUGE deal! It means no off-gassing, and no system-disrupting chemicals. Puddlegear is made of ATEC, which is soft and pleasant to wear, blocks wind and rain, is tear resistant, and isn’t stinky like vinyl rain wear. Deeds is a fire fighter enthusiast (he wants to be a “cheep”…chief), and is proud to wear his Anton Jacket and matching Felix Pants. The "model" on this blog post is actually my niece, 5 months younger and smaller than Deeds. All of the kids envy Deeds’s cool Puddlegear, so I think will be buying another set for Jojo! The closures on the clothing are high quality "poppers"; this suit looks like it will last way beyond the time it will take Deeds to outgrow it. The suspenders in the pants are adjustable for growth, and the reflective strips are wonderful for night time visibility. Puddlegear is available in other cool styles and a range of baby, toddler, and children’s sizes.
